Seventeen months ago I set out to make a feature film for $6000. A year later, in May of 2014, we had our World Premiere in competition at the Seattle International Film Festival and we were nominated for the prestigious FIPRESCI New American Cinema Award. We decided to go with our own distribution because ultimately it was the best deal for us. All the proceeds from the film go to the filmmakers.
